Heroin estimated at Rs 65 lakh seized, 2 PWD clerks arrested

Robertsganj, Jun 12 (UNI) Police today arrested two PWD clerks and recovered heroin estimated at Rs 65 lakh in the international market from their possession in Sonebhadra district of Uttar Pradesh.

The cops swooped upon two motorcycle-borne men, later identified as Ranjan Kesri alias Vikki and Vijay Sarsauli of Varanasi and seized 650 gms herion, when they were coming from Sonebhadra.

Both are employed with the state PWD department as clerks.

They were later sent to jail, police said.
