Four patients died in road accidents

Barh, Jun 12 (UNI) Altogether four people, including a woman, died and two others seriously injured in two road mishaps under different police stations of Patna district today.

Police here said a truck and an ambulance, carrying patients, collided head on near Katpur village under Khusrupur police station in the district.

Three of the patients died on the spot and two seriously injured were referred to Patna Medical College and Hospital. The condition of the victims were stated to be critical.

In another incident, one person died on the spot after being run over by a truck at Champapur village under Bakhtiyarpur police station.

Meanwhile, the locals had blocked the roads following the mishaps but was cleared after the intervention of local administration, police said.
