Bike-borne assailants shoot at man

Noida, June 12 (UNI) Two bike-borne assailants allegedly shot at a man barely 200 metres from a district court in Guatam Buddha Nagar of Noida today.

Identified as Devendra Upadhyaya, the man told the police that he was returning from the court when the assailants came and shot at him.

He had visited the court for hearing of a case. The court is hearing a case in which his sister Kusum, a minor, had been allegedly kidnapped by Tiger alias Mohinder. The latter has since been in prison.

Shot in one of the fingers of his right hand, Devendra, is recuperating in a hospital.
