35 children hospitalised due to food poisoning in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jun 12 (UNI) At least 35 children, aged between 5-16 years, were hospitalised after they had meals at a wedding in Pulwama district of south Kashmir last night, police said today.

They said the children fell ill due to food poisoning.

They have been admitted in the Sub District Hospital at Keller in Pulwama district, police added.

The children had taken meals at the marriage party held at the residence of Ghulam Qadir Laway at Wringward Keller.

The condition of the children was stated to be stable.

Police have launched investigations into the matter.
