Tata Indicom-DIGI4 ties up to offer TNET Signage technology

Kolkata, Jun 11 (UNI) TATA Indicom VSAT Services (TIVS) has signed a strategic business alliance with Digifour Technologies (Digi4), which offers "SCALA", the world's leading platform for Digital Signage.

This alliance would introduce, "TNET Signage", an innovative Dynamic Digital Signage(DDS) solution in India.

"TNET Signage" would allow the corporates and retail business to replace their signage with DDS. This high-impact medium of digital signage, also known as "Retail TV", would work effectively to deliver product information, advertising messages in retail stores, movie theatres, banks, hotels, where the need to communicate and provide updated information was critical.

''Today many digital signage are available but delivery, management and distribution of content over a large geographical spread still remain biggest challenge,'' TIVS General Manager- strategy&Business development Sanjay Tari said.

The Alliance would offer tailored DDS solutions across various business verticals, including banking, retail, entertainment and public facilities such as airports, railways delivering multimedia content on monitors, plasmas and digital billboards screens.

TIVS would connect 1000 screens across the country on TNET Signage platform by current fiscal year and 4000 screens by December 2008.

''The key to successfully deploying and managing Dynamic Digital signage solutions involves a flexible software platform that can seamlessly integrate with external electronic systems, creative display options and a robust connectivity model,'' DIGI4 Director Strategic Planning Mohammed Rafeeq.

''TNET Signage" would help establishments to save significant printing, logistics and manpower costs.
