Tata-Changi bids for airport development in Karnataka

Mumbai, June 11 (UNI) Singapore's Changi Airports International (CAI) along with the Tata group has bid for development of three airports in Karnataka.

The Tata-Changi consortium has bid for the development of airports at Shimoga, Gulbarga and Bijapur, CAI Regional Vice President N G Tim Peng told reportershere today on the sidelines of an aviation conference.

He said that in this joint venture, Tata Group holds 51 per cent stake and remaining 49 per cent stake will be with CAI in bidding for the three airports in Karnataka.
