Scorching heat continues in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Jun 11 (UNI) Severe heat wave conditions continued unabated in Rajasthan during the past 24 hours with Sriganganagar and Churu recording 46 degrees Celsius.

A Met Office spokesman said here that Sriganganagar sizzled at 46 degrees for a second successive day today.

Besides this, Jaipur and Pilani recorded maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius followed by Kota and Bikaner 43 degrees Celsius, Jaisalmer and Ajmer 42 degrees Celsius, Barmer 41 degrees and Jodhpur 40 degrees.
