Riddhi Siddhi Gluco Biols net profit up 136 pc

Ahmedabad, June 11 (UNI) City-based Riddhi Siddhi Gluco Biols Limited (RSGBL) has recorded a net profit of Rs 26.76 crore for the year ended March 31, an increase of 136 per cent over the previous year's net profit of Rs 11.34 crore.

The sales for the year 2006-07 stood at Rs 355.87 crore as against Rs 243.13 crore in the previous year, a company press release said.

Commenting on the result, RSGBL MD Ganpatraj Chowdhary said, ''Our recent capacity expansion of modified starch at Gokak plant and the management's focus on better product mix and utilisation of utilities have contributed to improved overall growth.'' UNI
