Rao hurls allegations at Khobragade
Mumbai, Jun 11 (UNI) BEST Workers Union president Sharad Rao has demanded an inquiry into the ''various land deals done by Uttam Khobragade, the General Manager of BEST and the former commissioner of MHADA and State Transport''.
Mr Rao, while addressing a press conference here today, alleged that Mr Khobragade had joined hands with former municipal councillor Manoj Sansare, who has many cases against him, and inducted temporary staff at BEST during the workers' strike.
Mr Rao alleged that because of recruiting trainee drivers and conductors during the strike period, many accidents had occurred.
Mr Rao alleged also that the BEST General Manager ''had hired goons to attack him at his house''.
