Rajasthan govt hand in glove with saffron brigade, alleges CPI
Jaipur, June 11 (UNI) The Rajasthan Communist Party of India(CPI) has charged the state government with being hand in glove with Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal.
A two-day meeting of the party's state council alleged that the saffron outfits were working to create communal hatred in the desert state in active collusion with the state government.
The meeting, which concluded yesterday, was attended by CPI General Secretary A B Bardhan, CPI state secretary Dushyant Ojha, told reporters today.
Mr Ojha said the meeting strongly condemned the saffron brigade's efforts of creating communal hatred and the state government's alleged ''protection'' to them.
The party also criticised the government for its ''anti labourers policies'' and claimed that over 50,000 cases of labour disputes were pending at various stages and the state government had done nothing to settle them expeditiously.
The meeting also urged the government to constitute state labour advisory board.
The two-day meet also expressed its dissatisfaction over the state government's ''apathy'' towards problems of farmers and rural masses.
He said the party was planning to launch an agitation for highlighting farmers' problems, from September 1.
The party has also decided to strengthen its organisational set up and support base in different parts of the state, particularly in pockets of its influence in tribal regions, Mr Ojha added.
