Punjab Cabinet approves summoning of Vidhan Sabha from June 19

Chandigarh, Jun 11 (UNI) The Punjab Cabinet today approved the summoning of the 2nd session of 13th Vidhan Sabha from June 19.

The approval was given at its meeting presided by Chief Minister Parkashd Singh Badal, a spokesman of the Punjab government said.

The session would start with obituary references on June 19. The Budget Estimates for the year 2007-08 will be presented on June 20 and non-official business carried out on June 21.

General discussion on budget estimates would be held on June 22 and June 25 and concluded on June 26. Discussion and voting on demands for Grants for the year 2007-08 would be taken up On June 27.

Non official business and legislative business would be transacted respectively On June 28 and June 29.
