Out of term promotion to policemen in J'khand for crime control:Koda

Ranchi, Jun 11 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today said state government would leave no stone unturned to make the state crime less and policemen would be given out of term promotion for their role in controlling the criminal activities.

Talking to reporters here Mr Koda said that all the police officers involved in cracking the bank robbery held on June 7 in the state capital would be given out of term promotion and felicitated on August 15.

More than Rs 1.5 crores were looted from a branch of Syndicate bank and three miscreants were killed by the police in this connection.

Mr Koda said that state government would also recommend the names of those policemen including office-in-charge of Namkom for the gallantry awards.

He said that efforts were also being done to equip the department with latest technological gadgets.
