Man burnt to death because of 'beedi'

Anand, Jun 11 (UNI) A paralysis-afflicted man was accidentally burnt to death at Tarapur village, 35 km from here, when he lit a ''beedi''.

Adit Somabhai Harijan (65), paralysed down waist, had lighted a ''beedi'' in the wee hours today. However, his dress caught fire accidentally from the ''beedi'' sparks.

The paralytic man could not save himself and he was burnt to death, police said.
