Maid alleges rape by 'boyfriend', no arrests made

New Delhi, Jun 11 (UNI) A 20-year-old girl today alleged that she had been raped by her 'boyfriend' in Hauz Khas area of South Delhi.

The girl, who works as a maid but presently unemployed, called the police at about 1810 hrs from Katwaria Sarai area under Hauz Khas police station that she had been raped by her 'boyfriend', said a senior police official.

''She said the rape took place at about 1100 hrs in some tennis court and that she knew the man. However, she was not consistent in her statement during cross-questioning.'' We are looking into the allegations and investigating the matter, he said, adding that however, no arrests have been made so far.
