Mahto demnads implementation of DC's recommendation

Ranchi, Jun 11 (UNI) Former Jharkhand minister Lalchand Mahto has urged the governor to hold fresh Assembly polls based on Delimitation Commission's recommendation.

The Bahujan Sadan Morcha, led by Mr Mahto, had also demanded action against the political parties, who were protesting the recommendation to reduce the SC/ST Assembly seats in the state.

Mr Mahto, who had submitted a memorandum before the governor, said the state government should hold Panchayat election in the state.

He said the declaration of notified areas should also be done and reservation be given to the Sadans in the state according to their population.
