J'kand governor approves University amendment bill

Ranchi, Jun 11 (UNI) Jharkhand Governor Syed Sibte Razi today gave his assent to Jharkhand State University (amendment) Bill, 2006 and State University (amendment) Bill, 2007, for setting up two universities.

The Neelambar Peetamber and Kolhan universities would be set up in Chaibasa and Medininagar (Daltonganj) respectively.

Mr Razi had also directed the state government to ensure post creation and infrastructure building.
