HPCL buys 100 KT low-sulphur gas oil

Singapore: June 11: Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd. (HPCL) bought by tender 100,000 tonnes of low-sulphur gas oil for for June to July delivery, half the volume requested, a company official said on Monday.

The purchases were above earlier buying of 270,000 tonnes for June to August supplies.

But HPCL called off another tender to sell at least 25,000 tonnes of 0.5 percent sulphur gas oil for prompt loading this month.
