Health department employee sent to jail

Patna, Jun 11 (UNI) Special vigilance judge of Patna Sunil Kumar Panwar today remanded an employee of Bihar health department to judicial custody in a bribery case till June 25.

Head clerk of Aurangabad district health department Basant Prasad was produced before the court under different charges of prevention of corruption Act.

According to the charges the accused was arrested at Aurangabad while accepting a bribe of Rs 5000 for transfer of a nurse on June 10 last.
