HDAC to promote Hindu Dharma in villages

Tirupati, June 11 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board Chairman B Karunakar Reddy today said the recently constituted Hindu Dharmic Advisory Council (HDAC) would promote 'Hindu Dharma' in the villages.

During the HDAC meeting here Mr Reddy said, in the recent years Hindu Dharma had not been reached to the commonman in a systematic way. Various programmes like Dalit Govinda, Kalyanamastu and Bajana Yagnam would be effective in propagating the Dharma, he said.

HDAC President PVRK Prasad said, as part of Bajana Yagnam to propagate Dharma, 1600 Bajana mandals were formed at Visakhapatnam.
