GV Films to buy stakes in Sanra Software
Chennai, June 11 (UNI) Leading film producer GV Films is evincing interest to buy stakes in Sanra Software.
The Chennai-based software company has already received a proposal of investment from GV Films. It would hold a meeting of the Board of Directors shortly to finalise the deal, subject to SEBI's approval.
Talking to newspersons here today, GV film director A Venkatramani said, the deal, a strategic investment, would be finalised shortly.
"We will pick up 10 to 15 per cent stake in Sanra Software", he added.
Mr Venkatramani said, Sanra Software had, currently, tie-up with GV films to do the animation work for the upcoming film 'Om Muruga'.
Besides, Sanara would take up two more international animation films from us shortly, he said.
"Our company is also planning to enter into a tie-up with Universal Pictures to produce more animation films for them", he said adding the deal was likely to be finalised within a couple of months.
GV Films Ltd has obtained city distribution of 'SIVAJI', starring super star Rajnikanth.
