Chennai distribution rights of Shivaji to GV Films

Mumbai, June 11: Film producer and distributor GV Films Ltd today announced that they are picking up the Chennai city distribution rights of the prestigious super star Rajnikanth starrer 'Shivaji'.

It is worth mentioning here that as per an Economic Times survey, the film's revenue is likely to cross a whopping Rs 100 crore, within a year. In a communique to the premier Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) the company said they are proud to be a part of this venture.

It may be recollected here that GV Films had previously produced block-busters and award winning Tamil films like 'Mouna Ragam', 'Agni Natchathiram', 'Nayagan', 'Thalapathi' (starring superstar Rajnikanth), 'Anjali', 'Indira', 'Tamizhan' and 'Chokkathangam'.
