Govt to try implemention of GO 610 in PSUs, Universities: CM

Hyderabad, June 11 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today announced that the government would try to implement the GO 610 in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and Universities.

Talking to newspersons here, after a meeting with various government employees unions, Dr Reddy said though the PSUs and Universities do not come under the purview of the GO, the government had taken the decision to do justice to the people of the Telangana region.

The Chief Minister appealed to all political parties to create a congenial atmosphere for the implementation of the GO.

''Those who were willing to leave Telangana and go to their respective places voluntarily would be allowed to go first. Such employees were being given a week's time to express their option,'' Dr Reddy said.
