Govt failed to provide employment to job card holders:Jha

Samastipur, Jun 11 (UNI) CPI-ML's central committee member Dhirendra Kumar Jha today alleged that the Bihar government failed to provide employment to the labourers.

Adressing a district committee meeting he said the UPA government at the Centre was also responsible for present plight of the labour community and failed to provide 100 days employment, guaranteed under ''Employment Assurence Scheme'' to the unemployed landless labourers.

The party would stage a dharna in Samastipur to demand reopening of closed sugar mills in the district, he added.
