Flying Cats to set up 10 aviation training centres in South

Bangalore, June 11 (UNI) Flying Cats, one of the country's fastest growing aviation training schools, today announced it was spreading its wings in the South by opening ten centres.

Flying Cats Managing Director Priyanka Khosla told newspersons here the Centres in the region would be set up as joint venture with Apna Sapna Group, a real estate company that has forayed into aviation training.

Ms Khosla claimed more than 100 of their trainees had already been placed as air hostessess or ground handling straff with various airliners.

She said Flying Cats, which was yet to complete its first year of operations, had earned good reputation and created sound infrastructure facilities, not only to groom air hostesses but also impart training in overseas centres such as Singapore.

Each Centre was being set up with an investment of Rs 50 lakh.Apna Sapna Group Chairman and Managing Director Sunil Baberwal would be the Regional Director for Flying Cats, she announced.

Mr Baberwal said two centres each would be set up in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai, besides one each in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Pondicherry and Goa.

The successful trainees would get a diploma from the Distance Learning Centre of the Annamalai University in Tamil Nadu.
