Energy park to come up in Pondy

Puducherry, June 11 (UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today laid the foundation stone for the Rs 1.5 crore energy park here, aimed at helping the students.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the park would be set up at 1.6 acres of land at a 3.1-acre site on the Airport road at Lawspet here and a planetorium would be built in the remaining land at a cost of Rs 7 crore, to be borne by the Centre.

He said the administration proposed to construct buildings for Government departments in temple poromboke lands.
