Army arrest four Over Ground Workers of militants in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jun 11 (UNI) Four over ground workers (OGW) of a militant outfit were arrested by the troops in north Kashmir, a defence ministry spokesman said.
He said troops of 52 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) spotted four persons moving suspiciously at Sopore in Baramulla district of North Kashmir last evening.
The spokeshman said during the questioning, they were found without proper identification.
On further investigations, it was found that the individuals had earlier been booked as Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) OGWs.
They have been identified as Ghulam Nabi Wani, Sohail Mohiddin Dar, Farooq Ahmad Wani and Abdul Hamid Wani, residents of Kulgam.
He said they were later handed over to Baramula police station.
