After 'Mulayam Chalisa', it's time for 'Maya Puran'
Lucknow, June 11 (UNI) After 'Mulayam Chalisa', now efforts are on to script 'Maya Puran' following the new social engineering used by the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) to gain absolute majority in U ttar Pradesh during assembly polls.
Emminent writer Dr M L Srivastava will pen the Maya Puran after a permission is given by Chief Minister Mayawati.
In the previous Samajwadi Party regime, SP Rajya Sabha member and trader leader Banwari Lal Kanchal wrote 'Mulayam Chalisa' describing the 40 achievements of the 'Mulayam Singh Yadav government.
In the synopsis of the Maya Puran it has been said that Ms Mayawati is a bigger political leader than former Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi as the former had to break the social barriers to form the Dalit-Brahmin combination while the later got the political power on a silver platter.
Claiming that Ms Mayawati is a Dalit messiah after B R Ambedkar, the puran said the recently concluded assembly polls in UP had proved her as one of the greatest leaders of the country who had broken the caste barriers.
Describing late Kanshi Ram as the mentor of Ms Mayawati, it further said that she had done what her guru had never thought about nor any of the dalit leaders had in their dreams.
In the Maya Puran, the writer had given several examples from the 18 Puranas of the Vedic period him comparison to the present BSP supremo.
