Abad Hotels: Stay on demolition extended by two weeks

Kochi, Jun 11 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today extended by another two weeks the stay on the demolition of the Abad Hotels property at Munnar.

A Division Bench comprising Justices P R Raman and K Hema gave the extension after the petitioners submitted that a petition filed by the hotel group was pending before the Land Revenue Commissioner.

Abad Hotels and Resorts Pvt. Ltd. had earlier moved the High Court against the demolition of its property in Munnar as part of the anti-encroachment drive launched by the state government.

The group had challenged the eviction order issued against its hotel situated at Munnar.
