40 students affected by food poisoning

Rewa, MP, June 11 (UNI) A total of 40 students fell ill due to suspected food poisoning after consuming midday meal served at a school in the Teonthar tehsil of this district, police said.

Students complained of nausea and diarrhoea immediately after consuming the meal at Sitlah primary school on Sunday, police said. The children were brought here for treatment after a team of doctors visited the spot.

Midday meal is provided to the students on Sunday also in the drought affected Teonthar tehsil, police added.
