Youth Congress to demand 35 per cent representation
Gulbarga, June 10 (UNI) Newly appointed Karnataka Youth Congress President Sadanand Danganavar today said the youth Congress would demand for 35 per cent representation for youth in local bodies and in the state legislative Assembly.
Addressing a press conference here, he said the youth Congress would strive to keep away people who have criminal antecedents. ''We will not tolerate criminals entering politics and disrespecting elders,'' he added.
He said the youth Congress would launch campaign in all the villages to highlight the failure of the coalition government.
Describing the JD(S)-BJP coalition government's 15 months ruling as ''black days'', he alleged that the lack of coordination between the leaders of the coalition parties affected the development of the state.
