UP: 3 policemen suspended for dereliction of duty

Agra, June 10: Three police personnel, including chowki incharge were today suspended on charges of dereliction of duty.

The eve teasing incident that occurred in Chaikora village inFatehpur Sikri yesterday, resulted in stone pelting and firing betweenthe groups.

One person died on the spot, while 12 others were grievously wounded.

Three police officials have been suspended with an immediate effect.

To avoid any fresh violence, police in strength have been deployed, Senior Superintendent of Police Hari Ram Sharma said.
