Unidentified criminals shot dead farmer

Saharsa, Jun 10 (UNI) A few unidentified criminals shot dead a farmer at Murladi village under Simiri Bakhtiyarpur police station in the district late last night.

Superintendent of Police Kunwar Singh here today said Jhkas Yadav was looking after his field when the criminals shot him dead.

Police had attributed land dispute to be the motive behind the murder.

Raids were on to nab the criminals while Deputy SP, alongwith some of his high officials, was camping on the site, sources added.
