Tension prevails after clash between Cong and BJP workers

Shajapur, MP, June 10 (UNI) Tension prevailed in this district's Shujalpur town following clashes between supporters of the BJP and the Congress last night, police said today.

Six people, including three people, were injured during the incident.

About 50 people attacked Congress worker Gopal Prajapati's house last night over some matter. Five people, including three women, were injured.

Earlier, Mr Prajapati's supporters assaulted RSS worker Rajendra Mandloi. The injured were admitted to district hospital.

Additional Police force were deployed in the area in view of the tense atmosphere. The situation was under control.

On the basis of complaints from both sides, police have registered cases and arrested Manish, Mukesh Bhai and Shyam Singh.
