TDP opposes removal of contract lecturers

Hyderabad, June 10 (UNI) The opposition Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh today opposed removal of contract lecturers as "there was already shortage of lecturers." Inaugurating the hunger strike camp of contract lecturers association at the Sundaraiah Vignana Bhavan here, TDP senior leader T Devender Goud said the government which was duty bound to create the right atmosphere for the poor and oppressed children to come up in education, was destroying the education system.

The TDP extended its support to the struggle of contract lecturers for renewal of their contracts.
