Retd Army officer arrested for human trafficking

New Delhi, June 10 (UNI) Police today arrested a retired Army Major General from Rajouri Garden area of west Delhi in connection with several human trafficking cases.

Major General (retd) Trilok Singh (73), who ran a placement agency, would send people to Australia, Canada and Africa on fake passports, according to police sources.

He had cheated several people of lakhs of rupees on whose complaint he was arrested.

Lately he had sent five people to Canada who were later deported as their papers were found to be fake.
