Main accused in police station robbery arrested

Gaya, Jun 10 (UNI) Police have arrested Ramanuj Yadav, main accused in Paraiyya police station loot case and a proscribed CPI(Maoist) activist from Khaira village under Koach police station here.

District Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Jain here today said acting on the tip-off, police officials raided Khaira village and arrested Yadav late last night.

However, two of his supporters managed to escape.

The maoist ultras had attacked Paraiyya police station in 2003, killed two police personnel and looted ten rifles.
