JPCC constitutes committee on delimitation issue

Ranchi, Jun 10 (UNI) Concerned over reduction of SC/ST Assembly seats in the state, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee has Constituted a five-member committee to present issue before the Delimitation Commission.

JPCC's media cell convenor V.P.Sharan said Jaiprakash Gupta had been made convenor of the committee and the members were Keshav Mahto Kamlesh, Dev Kumar Dhan, Arun Pandey and Ravindra Dhan.

Mr Sharan said the committee had been asked to prepare a detailed report based on Lok Sabha and Assembly areas.

The DC had recommended to reduce the SC/ST assembly seats of the state to 22 from 28.
