Husband, wife killed in mishap in Punjab

Fatehgarh Sahib, June 10 (UNI) A couple was killed when their motorcycle was hit by a tractor-trolley near Khamano town of the district today, police here stated.

The deceased identified as Gurbakh Singh (56) and wife Swaran Kaur(54) were on their way to Maheshpura village when the mishap occured. The tractor-trolley overturned after the mishap.

While Swaran Kaur killed on the spot, her husband succumbed to his injuries at Civil Hospital, Khamano. Khamano police has registered a case against the tractor-trolley driver and started investigations.
