Haryana police arrest man with opium and charas

Kaithal, June 10 (UNI) The district police has arrested a person from Guhna village who was carrying 680 gram Charas and 690 gram opium which he allegedly wanted to plant in the house of one of his relatives and get him arrested under the NDPS Act .

Giving this information to mediapersons today, SSP Navdeep Singh Virk said that police got a tip off that Madan Lal of Dahola village of Jind district had gone to the house of Phool Singh of Guhna to plant some contraband as he had sour relations with him.

The police immediately swung in to action and nabbed Madal Lal who was carrying a polythene bag and was about to enter the residence of Phool Singh. He was searched and the charas and opium was recovered.

Madal Lal was arrested under the NDPS Act.
