Congress honest, claims Himachal minister
Shimla, Jun 10 (UNI) Pointing fingers at the honesty of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh will be wrong when the whole Congress was honest, state Agriculture Minister Raj Krishan Gaur said.
Reacting to former tourism minister Vijai Singh Mankotia's recent statement that only Mr Gaur was honest in the present Virbhadra Singh Government at Manali, he said by saying that he was trying to alleged that the party was corrupt, which was condemnable.
He said the whole Congress party was honest and allegations of corruption leveled against the Chief Minister would bear no fruits to the BJP.
Referring to party's defeat in the Parliamentary elections, Mr Gaur said the CD had not affected the party's prospects but had failed in taking its programmes and policies to the people.
