Cong men burn evangelist in effigy

Kakinada, June 10 (UNI) Congress workers today burnt an effigy of evangelist K A Paul, condemning his allegations levelled against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

The activists, led by PCC member Dwarapudi Chandrasekhar Reddy, demanded an apology from Mr Paul on the issue.

Meanwhile , another group of activists barged into Mr Paul's house and damaged his car.

Mr Paul had alleged that Dr Reddy had demanded him to contribute to the Congress Party's election fund for the 2004 assembly election.
