Bus-Truck collision kills one, hurts 21

Sultanpur, June 10 (UNI) One person was killed and 21 others sustained serious injuries after a speeding Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus rammed into a stationary truck here.

According to police, the mishap occurred near Musafirkhana area on the Lucknow-Varanasi National Highway late yesterday, injuring 22 passengers critically.

The injured were admitted to the District Hospital, where a grievously wounded succumbed.

The deceased was identified as Karma Devi (65) of Tejpur Saraimeer in Azamgarh.
