AP: Maoists abduct Salwa Judum activists
Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, June 10: Suspected CPI (Maoist) activists today kidnapped six Salwajudum activists, one of whom managed to escape, from the Andhra Pradesh-Chhattisgarh border.
Police said the Moaists came to Banda Village, where more than 1000 Salwajudum activists assembled and took the six activists from the spot.
The Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh Police launched a joint operation to free the abducted persons.
