40 take ill after consuming adulterated food

Rewa, MP, June 10 (UNI) About 40 children have taken ill after consuming adulterated food served during mid-day meal at a primary school at Kityauthar tahsil in this district, today police said.

The children complained of vomiting and abdominal pain after consuming the food at Sitlah primary school. The school provides mid-day mean on Sundays also.

On receiving information, administrative officials and doctors reached the spot.

The children have been taken to Rewa for treatment.
