Woman Corporator held for keeping Charas

Dewas (MP), Jun 9 (UNI) Congress Corporator Nisha and her husband Akeel Hussain were arrested here today on the charge of keeping 'Charas', police said.

On a tip-off, police raided their house early this morning and seized 505 gram Charas, Superintendent of Police I P Kulshreshta said.

During investigation, police recovered 150 ration cards, five swords and a car from their four relatives- Vakil, Rafique, Shabbir and Kalu Bose- who were also arrested.

Police is investigating into their contacts and other accomplices, the SP said.
