Passing out parade of BSF held

Tekanpur, MP, Jun 9 (UNI) A colourful passing out parade of Assistant Commandants was held at Border Security Force (BSF) Academy here today.

BSF Additional Director-General A K Mitra took the salute of the parade commanded by Recruit Kailash Chandra Punia.

BSF Academy Director S C Ved and Brigadier A K Bhanot were present.

Addressing the passing-out recruits after inspection of the parade, Mr Mitra said the BSF jawans had a challenging task ahead.

On the occasion, recruits were given awards for putting up good performance. This included: Satyendra Chahar (Sword of Honour), Satyendra Chahar (Home Minister Trophy), and Govind Singh (Director General's Trophy) besides other students.
