MP Minister receives 'Rashtriya Gaurav Samman'

Bhopal, June 9 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Minister of State for Social Justice and Revenue Narayan Singh Kushwah was today honoured with the 'Rashtriya Gaurav Samman' for overall development of his assembly constituency.

The award -- given by the India International Friendship Society for contribution in the fields of education, technology, agriculture and politics -- was presented to Mr Kushwah by Maharashtra Civil Supplies Minister Sunil Tatkare in Mumbai today.

According to official information, a seminar on economic development and national integration was organised on the occasion.

Mr Tatkare, MPs Mohan Rawle and Vallabhai Kataria, Bihar Health Minister Chandramohan Rai, Gujarat Finance Minister Vajubhaiwala and former Meghalaya Governor M M Jacob shared their views.

All the speakers felt that education and national unity was necessary for the country's development.
