Minor blast at VSP; five injured

Visakhapatnam, June 9 (UNI) Five persons were injured following a minor blast in the steel melting shop of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant yesterday.

According to official sources, while removing refractory bricks, hot slag from a ladle fell on the floor, resulting in a blast.

Two employees of the plant and three contract workers of a private company, who suffered minor injuries, were taken to a hospital.
