Govt machinery to conduct 'panchanamas' of uncrushed canes: Kadam
Sangli, Maharashtra Jun 9 (UNI) Maharashtra Cooperation Minister Patangrao Kadam today said the State government will conduct 'panchnamas' in order to compensate farmers whose sugarcanes have not yet been crushed.
Mr Kadam told reporters the State government has already directed sugar factories in Marathwada region to continue crushing sugarcanes till June 15 and in case the sugarcane are not completely crushed, the State government will carry out panchnamas to help farmers.
Marathwada region is facing the problem of uncrushed sugarcane and the State government is make every effort to help farmers tide over this crisis.
