Gang busted in East Delhi

New Delhi, June 9 (UNI) With the arrest of four people, including two Bangladeshis, from East Delhi, police today claimed to have busted a gang of robbers while they were planning a theft.

Jehangir, Abu Hanif -- both Bangladeshi nationals along with Ramesh and Raj Kumar were arrested yesterday from Sanjay Jheel Park.

Police recovered two button-actuated knives and an iron rod from them.

During interrogation they admitted to be involved in several cases of robbery. The accused revealed that they used to send the stolen money and jewellery to Bangladesh through another gang member who is absconding.
